4th March 2010

Today I learned quite a lot of things, here I would like to share with you.

1. Michael Jordan: " I always set a goal first, and then I will try my best to achieve it, crazily, only after it's been achieved then I set another target".

2. Facebook's 2009 profit was more than forecast, double from $500million to $1.1billion, how rich Mark Zuckerberg is ( we're definitely pushing his fortune up everyday -.-").

3. Nexus One would not be shipping to Malaysia recently as it's only start testing in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China. So dear Malaysian, " Wait slowly la"!

4. 20+10 = Spend 20 minutes to read a book, and spend 10 minutes to journal what you have read. If we spend 10,000 hours by doing something with passion, we're going to become a professional in what we're doing.

Last but not least, today's quite a boring day, that's why I'm able to blog in the midst of working. Good luck guys! Going back to meet my gf tomorrow~

Investment and entrepreneur

Today I'm going to talk about the differences between investment and entrepreneur.

Firstly, investment is a must in our life. Throughout the year, we have spent a lot of money buy shirts, books, entertainments etc. But does this spending actually become our assets? Think yourself.

Warrent Buffet said during the Columbia University Interview, we muts invest ourself as much assets as we can. If we dont even have a high market value, then our life will be misserable as we can't even contribute anything to the society. A question, will investment make us rich?

I've been figuring this question for weeks. i tried to learn investing. But I can see some of the people bankrupt because of investing but some are becoming rich and rich. Furthermore, there are a lot of investors over the world. They are doing investment, is it sure by following the global trend people will be able to invest in the right portfolio and become rich?

Entrepreneurship. Few decades ago, there are a number of successful entrepreneurs around the world. But nowadays, as you walk out to the street, even a person who is selling mee is also considered as entrepreneur. There are more and more people going to this path. Therefore, will this path make people to become rich, again?

Today the world is talking about globalisation and creativity. But shall we choose to become a talent and help a company to grow their business and by the way--> become rich, again? We should take more time to think about this.

Merry Christmas, my poor friends.

NKRA, Investment

I would like to applaud for the NKRA of our country. The entire targets were brilliant and fascinating. However, the more concerned area is whether actions will really be taken by the government.

I'm addicted on the helping the poor part. The Woman, Family, and Community Minister will help the poor through entrepreneur programs. I was wondering, what do they mean entrepreneur program? Is it really entrepreneur can be trained? Is there really a diploma or degree that allow us to be a great entrepreneur like Li Kah Sheng, Bill Gates, or Warren Buffet? It is impossible, not in a month of Sundays.

Currently I am interested in getting to know more about investment, especially in LCL Corporation Bhd and Dubai case. Wish me good luck in my exam, as I haven't started my revision yet. Thanks. I will try to improve my English by using new vocabs everyday. Hopefully it's useful.

Game Plan

What's my game plan now? Here may be some rediculous plans:

-eReaders
-Stupid rigid ACCA
-Unimaginable USA
-Partime jobs for earning some money
-Just exercise

But, all of those above really bring no clear image about my future. Will I be an accountant? shit, I hate repetitive jobs, instead I'm going for sales or business. But, which type of business? Doing partime jobs now? What if....(touch wood) I failed my exam? I wish I could predict and manage my future....

Not to say I hate Malaysia, I do miss my family, my friends, and all I have in Malaysia. But, I wish I could had been to the USA. I love their environment, somehow it helps me to improve my English. That's good thing, 20 years more advance than Malaysia!

But I can't say that Malaysia is bad, there are a lot of rich people in Malaysia. Erm...Argh... I have too many reasons.............................................................................fuck.

Defination of life

Human is a bitch. Sometimes we will feel very down and don't know what we're doing. Holy shit and i'm the bitch now. I'm always wondering whether pursuing an advanced diploma will make my life richer and healthier. But though I'm still cannot get the confirm answer. Never mind, keep trying to find it.

Today I went to my uncle's church(is it church?), I learned quite a lot of things but feel depressed as well. Why? It's because they are rich, and their lifestyle is totally different with me. He treated us dinner that costs RM8xx. I really have no comment on it.

Besides that, I met some new friends( shouldn't categorize them as friends, as we didnt talk so much with each other), it made me felt that English Communication is definately important in our life. Communication may be a tough skill as well. So, we must learn it.

Few days ago, my grandma passed away. I went back to Johor to the funeral. Well, no comment as well. Goodbye grandma. I'll miss you.

Goodbye Maternal Grandma...

I really don't know what can I say to you. Wish you 一路领顺风, that's all.....

Recently, I've studied a book named " nine letters to future leaders", this is a very nice book, impressed me and give me a lot of advices that I had ever heard before.

Here are some advices from Li Kah Shing and Jimmy Wales (wikipedia founder):

1. Knowledge will always change our life.

2. Learn more than what you learn at college.

3. Don't study things that are not beneficial to you.

4. Today's job complete by today.

5. English is crucial as lingua franca in business world.

6. China will become the largest economic country after 100 years ( from Solo).

And furthermore, this is nice book, and should be studied by all of us.

Boring la!

How come I feel so boring today.........

I'm trying to complete my assignment, this is good sign, but when I tried to go for exercise, I felt tired and lazy. Rider, come to me asap!

Exam is coming soon, soon, and soon. After exam, what can I do? Really nothing can do. If I go back, I will play around, clubbing, and become worst. If I stay at KL, I can do many things and part time. OK la, stay at KL la~

Celestine, I wish you could be with me. I feel so lonely and meaningless without you, I really wish that your company would set you off. Come back to Malaysia, I'll bring you to Sigapore again once I've graduted.

I went to Yng Bhg. Tan Seri Dr Lau Ban Tin's talk, he's totally impressed me!~ But what advise he gave me was....YOUR ATTITUDE MUST CHANGE! I really get stunned by him. To be like him, I have to study more than him as knowledge is very important. Thus, study study and study, learn, learn, and learn, this is life.
